I think towards the end there, he called me WEIRD, because I had more than one Hi Point? lol

You guy's don't think I'm weird, DO YA?

It's a good review and I'm glad he finally did one. But after watching the review I'm not sure if I should feel proud or offended. I don't really disagree with anything he says. I guess you just have to be able to handle the truth. Now if he would just do a review on one of the carbines.

You're a nice boy, Melvin. Now go make Hi Point noises :loco:

He clearly doesn't want to like the gun.
He was trying to rack the slide like a girl. You don't ever see him trying to rack any other semi-auto like that. almost like he was afraid of getting cooties or something.

It's like asking a ford hater to do a positive review on a new ford. He ain't really gonna find anything really wrong with it, but he ain't never gonna admit to liking one either.

Just watched it. Gotta agree - done like a true Schlock snob. Used to really like this guy and trust his reviews. Now.... not so sure.

I thought he did a good review of the gun myself. I mean come on guys it is one of the cheapest pistols he has ever done a review on. I did not expect him to praise it as he would a higher dollar gun. All in all like he said it just works, but not sure why anyone would want to collect them lol, no offense meant there macho mel.

I agree. Racking the slide can be an experience. I love my Hi Points, but they kinda have a cult following. I never thought I would be in a cult.

I have been told several times that I belonged to a religious cult?
Their reason was, because I chose to pay my tithes before I paid my bills or bought groceries?

Hmm, ALL my bills are paid & at 315 lbs, I didn't miss too many meals!

we watch a review for an opinion he gave his and came to much the same conclusion i have had with the c9 over the years. it works but its just not for me. its not that i dislike it its just that there is always something that i want more than it.

Once again the axiom, "Be careful what you wish for" comes through. People wanted it reviewed and now they aren't happy that he told the truth. :)

.
It was an honest review and a fair review but also mixed with his "opinion". Some of his opinions I don't agree with, like it is a gun to get only till you can afford something better. I think a budget priced gun that works is a tool for anyone to have, as a prepper, redundancy is a good thing especially if something works for a budget price. He also wasn't very acccurate on the price, C9's can routinely be purcahsed for $130-140, not $175ish as he states, which puts it closer to the SCCY and KelTecs. Also, he wasn't very complimentary on the accuracy because he didn't like the way it fit "his hand" and he complained about the odd recoil. What recoil? The C9 is one of the softest shooting 9mm's that I own. ???

I really do think the review wasn't fair at all. He clearly came to the table with prejudice. His little comment about kinds of people who by hi points was quite revealing. Paul Scarlata from Shooting Times said the hi point has great sights and an excellent trigger pull. I don't know....I think the nail in the coffin is that it's an inexpensive hand gun. And people equate that with cheap.

He is planning to do video with the carbine...and in the comments he stated he has had fun shooting it. I look for that to be a lot more positive toward Hi Point.

I hope he was giving an "honest effort" at hitting the targets out at 80 yards (the gong). I've never seen him miss that many. He was hitting
just about everything of the closer targets (20-25 yards) which is where I find my C9 to be the most accurate.

He's got my favorite YouTube channel, but I pretty much expected the tone of this review.

I own 995ts,jhp 45,and a c9 and the one that always jams is the c9,the 45 is reliable and so is the carbine. If the c9 was my first hi-point it probably would've been my last and I've seen lots of vids especially iraqvet8888 have to hit the back of a c9 to get it to go into battery.Hickok45s honest,non-sugar coated review of the c9 was exactly what I expected it to be and I'm glad he finally did it.I also hit the like button so he'll hopefully do some reviews of hi-points more reliable models.
