Perfect for that entitled person looking to fill a need for instant gratification........;)

I was thinking of buying a 5-gallon bucket and using it as a reward for my Scouts to add to their survival bags for demonstrating their proficiency at primitive fire starting. We already give them flint and steel for starting their first fire, I'm thinking this for being able to teach another scout how to start their first fire.

Is it cheaper then a 5 bucket gallon of gas?
You already have to light it with a match or a lighter.
It's convenient for emergencies but other then that it's kinda like a cocq-au-vin MRE

Yeah, but as a cool thing for the kids, it might be worth it.

It's kinda cool how it works though.....but $65 for a bucket?!!!

$80 actually. Unless you went with the factory 2nds for $70. lol

I think it's a cool idea, but can't help think how the parents will feel when they discover you basically gave their kids Napalm.

Yeah and go to jail when they set their bed on fire and the parents found out I gave it to them.
So if they torch their room by rubbing two sticks together you're not to blame?

Nope. Not even if they are playing around with the flint and steel when it happens. Although we generally do have the presentation of items like pocket knives and the flint and steel while the parent is present so they can't say they didn't know about it.

All kids should be able to have napalm.

Who doesn't already know how?.....

That stuff looks good. No flare up, no big Whoosh! And no smell of burned hair.:D

But I'd settle for teaching the kids to build petroleum jelly cotton balls.:)

And as long as you're using baggies, there's this.

The Internet calls it armpit fudge, we call it sphincter fudge...you cut a corner off the bag to squirt it in your mouth.:p

A good variation...peaches in a cloud.

In the Baggie, put about a half a canned peach, or 3-4 slices, then a big spoonful of whipped cream, and a graham cracker. Close the bag, squish it for a while to crush the cracker and mush the peach, cut a corner and squeeze.:)
